In this session, Melodie Virtue and her fellow communications law panelists will review new ways to protect your station license under the new rules the FCC developed. The panel will discuss hot button enforcement issues and their impact on license renewals, the new FM Translator interference regime, updating FCC filing systems that require learning new skills, online public file tricks and the fast-approaching unified filing deadline for biennial ownership reports.
The panel will also cover efforts to simplify ownership reporting for public stations, CBD and other underwriting challenges, and new noncommercial educational station point system selection procedures.
