Michael S. Brunet will be speaking at the Labor and Employment Relations Association (LERA) 77th Annual Meeting. This year’s theme, “Promoting Authentic Dialogue in Polarized Times,” brings together over 350 labor relations professionals, academics, policymakers and practitioners for four days of skill-building, discussion and networking.
Michael will join the panel, “A Comparison of Public Sector Collective Bargaining Statutes in Oregon and Washington and Corresponding Trends in Contract Mediation, Strikes, and Binding Arbitration,” to explore key differences in Oregon and Washington’s public sector bargaining laws and examine trends in mediation, impasse procedures, labor strikes and interest arbitration, drawing on insights from agency data and real-world experience.
