Foster Garvey is pleased to announce the arrival of Adena Santiago as Of Counsel in the Commercial, IP & Tech Transactions group in Washington, D.C. Her practice focuses on alcohol beverage law, where she counsels clients across the three tiers of the alcohol beverage industry. Adena holds experience in all 50 states and currently monitors a portfolio with more than one thousand licenses for a single client, among many other successful representations of hotels, restaurants, distillers, brewers, wineries and distributors. She has extensive experience with state, local and federal regulatory agencies, including the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau.

Adena joins Foster Garvey from international law firm McDermott Will & Emery where she was Counsel in the Washington, D.C. office. Active in industry organizations, she is a member of the National Conference of State Liquor Administrators (NCSLA) and served on its Conference Planning Committee for 2021-2022. Adena is also a member of the National Alcohol Beverage Control Association (NABCA) and the National Association of Licensing and Compliance Professionals (NALCP).
She earned her J.D. from California Western School of Law and her B.A. from Brandeis University.
