Jason Ayres has been elected to serve as General Counsel to the Risk Management Association (RMA) Portland Metro Chapter and named a member of its board.
In his role as General Counsel, Jason will oversee RMA Portland Metro Chapter’s legal affairs in support of its mission of advancing the use of sound risk principles in the financial services industry. He joins a board that comprises other leading professionals across banking, finance, accounting and law.
Jason’s practice focuses on helping financial institutions and small businesses obtain optimal resolutions in commercial insolvencies, bankruptcy proceedings and business disputes. He frequently advises clients in complex Chapter 11 and Chapter 12 bankruptcy proceedings as well as receiverships and workouts. Jason has significant experience in matters involving agricultural lending, equipment leasing and financing.
