Communications, Telecom & Media attorney Brad Deutsch was recently quoted in Communications Daily, noting that the recent debate between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris “clearly satisfied” all Federal Election Commission and FCC rules, contrary to Trump’s allegations.

During an appearance on Fox News’ Fox and Friends, Trump described the debate as “terrible” because of ABC moderators David Muir and Lindsey Davis’ fact-checking and other actions during the debate, claiming that the broadcaster's news licenses should be revoked. Arguments that ABC’s conduct violated the FCC’s equal time laws were debunked by Deutsch, who referenced a CNN report showing that both candidates were onscreen for virtually the entire evening and Trump spoke more than Harris during the debate.
