Overview
Bennett is a member of the Business & Corporate Finance practice.
Bennett focuses his practice on intellectual property law, particularly in the areas of science, technology and privacy. As a USPTO-certified patent agent, he assists clients with a range of patent-related matters, including drafting applications and advising on patent strategy. During his externship at the UF Office of Privacy, he gained valuable experience by assisting with the analysis and application of privacy laws and regulations to university operations, while also monitoring and reporting on privacy trends and regulatory changes.
Bennett is a graduate of the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he participated in activities such as the Jeffrey G. Miller National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition and the Eighth Judicial Circuit Bar Association Mentoring Program. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from the College of Charleston Honors College.
