Overview
Michael represents public pension plans, nonprofits, university endowments, sovereign wealth funds, and other institutional investors across a range of alternative investments.
Michael focuses primarily on private markets transactions, including primary commitments in commingled fund products, investments in co-investments and single investor / separate account vehicles, LP secondaries, and capital restructurings and corporate reorganizations. His experience extends to such strategies as buyouts, venture capital, international, credit, life sciences, real estate, infrastructure, energy, agriculture and litigation finance.
Michael also has significant experience representing institutional investors in hedge funds and other open-end fund products, as well as in real estate joint ventures and collective investment trusts.
