Renee has 30 years of experience in the legal field with a focus on intellectual property.

Renee manages the Firm’s Transactional Paralegals and is also the Spokane Office Administrator. She has extensive experience in trademark preparation and prosecution, as well as U.S. trademark opposition and cancellation actions. She manages the firm’s trademark docketing system and routinely conducts trademark availability searches, drafts trademark applications, office action responses, assignments and trademark maintenance/renewal documents. Renee manages client trademark portfolios and works closely with foreign associates on foreign trademark prosecution and maintenance. She has extensive experience across all types of markets to secure customized and valuable IP portfolios for clients. Additionally, Renee has lengthy experience with preparing and drafting U.S. copyright applications.

Renee comes from a background in complex litigation. Prior to working on trademark and copyright matters, she provided all levels of support in document management, case document review and preparation of legal documents, which includes pleadings, witness disclosures, deposition notices and subpoenas.
