Overview
Throughout Courtney’s nearly 20-year career as a public finance attorney, she has focused her practice on helping cities, counties, school districts, special districts and conduit borrowers navigate a wide variety of financing matters.
Courtney regularly serves as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel and disclosure counsel, and advises 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations regarding tax-exempt borrowings and compliance with state and federal laws.
Her experience includes aiding issuers of tax-exempt bonds, conduit borrowers of tax-exempt debt, and underwriters in a spectrum of financing matters, spanning general obligation bonds, revenue bonds, full faith and credit borrowings, conduit borrowings, tax increment financing, fixed and variable rate debt, negotiated and competitive sales, as well as tax and revenue anticipation notes.
